On the occasion of Janmashtami, television actress Rupali Ganguly took to her official social media handle to share a few old and unseen photos of her son Rudransh. The actress, who is currently ruling the television screens with Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa, is often seen sharing glimpses of her life on the internet for the fans to enjoy. On Thursday, she took to her Instagram and posted a few pictures of her son dressed as ‘Lord Krishna,’ which left the netizens in awe.
Taking to the photo-sharing app, in the pictures that she shared, little Rudransh looked adorable as he smiled at the camera. Dressed as a young Krishna, in a beige dhoti and necklaces, the kids looked extremely adorable. She shared the photos with the caption, “Janmashtami ki Shubhkamnayen.” Netizens were quick to take to the comment section of the post to shower Rupali, her son and the photos with love and adoration. While many wished her on the auspicious occasion, others posted red heart emojis. For the unversed, Rupali tied the knot with the love of her life Ashwin Verma in 2013, after knowing each other for more that two decades. They welcomed their son Rudransh in 2015, after which the actress went on a sabbatical for seven years, so that she could take care of their son. Having become a household name with the iconic show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, she made her return to the small screen with Anupamaa. Her journey wasn’t as easy as she had to face a lot of comments on her body after she had given birth to her son. In an earlier interview with ETimes, she recalled how not only was she called fat by random people on the street, but even her friends, who were in the same profession as her, called her aunty. She went on to reveal how even if these comments are said harmlessly, it takes a toll on one’s mental health. However, Rupali didn’t let the comments deter her and today she has become one of the highest paid actresses in the Indian television industry.
